Award-winning student art exhibition is at your fingertips
The Student Art Fund of the Santa Barbara Art Association brings art to you through its new online art shows and competitions. The names of the 2010 student art competition award winners, and pictures of their artwork, are a click away when you go to:http://www.studentartfund.org/exhibitions/contests
Santa Barbara High School art teacher Laura Wooster said, “This is a great new thing because it is often hard for family, relatives, and friends to attend show openings. This way people across the country can see their students' works online. It's also great for ceramics and jewelry because three-dimensional artwork is hard to transport and display. This is a wonderful solution to the issue!” She continued, “It's pretty revolutionary for the school district and it is all thanks to the Student Art Fund. They are a fabulous organization doing great things.”
