La Colina Junior High School Jazz Band
The La Colina Junior High School Jazz Band took top honors in the "Middle School/Junior High" division last Saturday, May 22, at the Santa Barbara High School Jazz Festival. The band received awards for best trombone section, best sax section, best rhythm section, best overall junior high soloist (Nathaniel Hodson, grade 8), and first place band overall. The La Colina Jazz Band is under the direction of Jason Nam.
