Perfect attendance
There are 2,340 school days from grades K-12. San Marcos High School senior Matt Roberts attended every one of them beginning with Peabody, then La Colina Junior High, and finally San Marcos High. According to the school newspaper, when asked about how he achieved perfect attendance, Matt said, "There's no real secret, just take your vitamins." Matt will attend Seattle Pacific University, where he will major in urban studies.
La Colina Junior High principal David Ortiz reports that Kyce Tran, from Hollister Elementary School, and Alexander Das, from Monroe Elementary School, have not missed a day since kindergarten. Kyce and Alexander have each completed 1,620 days of school.
