58th annual Breakfast with the Authors slated for Saturday, October 9

Members of the community will be able to enjoy brunch and conversation with world-renowned children’s authors and illustrators at the 58th annual Breakfast with the Authors sponsored by the Santa Barbara County Education Office from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, October 9, in the SBCEO auditorium, 4400 Cathedral Oaks Road. Registration deadline is Oct. 1.
Susan Patron, 2007 Newbury Award winner and former librarian with the Los Angeles Public Library, will be the keynote. Confirmed authors and illustrators to date include Thalia Chaltas, Ellie Crowe, Jeri Chase Ferris, Juliet Fry, Dan Hanna, Mary Hershey, Carol Heyer, Barbara Hicks, Valerie Hobbs, Alexis O'Neill, Greg Trine, and Gretchen Woelfle.
