Santa Barbara School Districts’ State Preschool Programs Health Screening and Safety Fair
From 8am-3pm tomorrow, September 17, the districts’ state preschool programs will offer vision, hearing, height and weight/BMI screenings and health insurance, dental and fluoride varnish application to more than 400 children at a Health Screening and Safety Fair at Franklin Neighborhood Center. The location is 1136 E. Montecito Street. Free transportation will be provided. There will be a classroom raffle for participating parents.
Representatives will be present from the districts’ Child Development Program and other agencies, such as Children’s Health Initiative; Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics; Santa Barbara County Health Department; Family Service Agency; Welcome Every Baby; Santa Barbara Promotoras; Women, Infant, and Children.
