Update: Franklin Elementary School’s “Coins for Cancer” Campaign
Many people were touched by the Franklin School’s “Coins for Cancer” campaign to benefit kindergartner Ashley Vazquez, who has been battling the illness for three years. Monetary donations are being accepted at the school site or can be taken to any Wells Fargo Bank. Simply note Ashley Vazquez Donation on the deposit slip.
The “Coins for Cancer” drive will end on February 3, 2012. If the $3,000 goal is met, Principal Casie Killgore will shave her head at an assembly to support Ashley on her journey.

The “Coins for Cancer” drive raised over $7,000.
