Measures H2008 and Measure I2008 Senior Exemptions Forms Are Now Available
The Santa Barbara Unified School District’s Measure H2008 and Measure I2008 parcel tax senior exemption forms for tax year 2012-13 are available at the front desk, District Administration Office, 720 Santa Barbara Street, and are also posted on the district’s web site.
The completed applications must be filed with the school district annually by June 15 for the following tax year.
The $23 per parcel Measure H2008 funds, benefiting more than 10,000 students in grades 7-12, are being used to supplement math, science and technology education; music, arts, and theatre programs at the junior high level; foreign language at the secondary level; and restore ninth-grade math class sizes.
The $27 per parcel Measure I2008 funds, benefiting almost 5,000 students in grades K-6, are being used to supplement math, science, and technology education and offer classroom music programs.
