Franklin Children’s Center Focuses on Children’s Library and Literacy Resources
On March 2, 2012, the Santa Barbara Junior League hosted a fundraising event, Reading Between the Wines, to benefit the Franklin Children's Center, a district preschool serving 162 low-income students from the Eastside. The Junior League's goal is to raise $10,000 to provide a resource area and children's library.
The grand opening ceremony for the new Franklin Children's Center library will be on Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please join us for this event. For more information please contact Preschool Coordinator Liz Watters at (805) 963-8685.
