Santa Barbara High School’s Video Bulletin Promotes a Healthy Lifestyle With "Nourishing News" Segment

Santa Barbara High School’s video production students have been busy this year promoting health and wellness on their campus. The "Nourishing News" segment in the student-produced weekly news program (Channel 6 Action News) presents relevant health information in a creative way. Students in the class serve as the production crew, actors, and film editors. Rose Linehan, the school’s Ready2Move director and representative from Sansum Diabetes Research Institute, serves as the spokesperson for the segments. The segment is produced with the hope that these weekly informational segments will motivate others to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
