Tri-County GATE Council Honorees

Recently, several Santa Barbara teachers were honored at the annual Tri-County GATE Council “We Honor Our Own” awards luncheon. This award recognizes individuals who have supported the interests and needs of GATE-identified students. This year’s honorees included Assistant Superintendent Robin Sawaske, La Cumbre Junior High School English teacher Katie Pelle, Dos Pueblos High School English teacher Bill Woodward, and Peabody Charter School teacher Linda Stirling. Awards certificates and flowers were presented to each honoree by GATE coordinators Teresa Koontz, Sandy Robertson, and Peabody interim assistant principal Lauren Rodriguez.
