Goleta Valley Junior High School Music Program Demonstrates Measure H2008 Parcel Tax Dollars at Work
How are Measure H2008 parcel tax dollars making a difference at the secondary school level? In addition to supplementing math, science, and technology education; restoring ninth-grade math class sizes; and supplementing foreign language at the secondary level; parcel tax funds supplement music, arts, and theatre programs in our district’s four junior high schools.
One example is the Goleta Valley Junior High School music program. A new video is posted online, sharing the orchestra’s performance of Mozart’s Symphony No. 25.
