Parcel Tax (Measures H and I)

Measure H supports education in grades 7-12. The funds are being used to supplement math, science, and technology education; music, arts and theater programs at the junior high school level; foreign language at the secondary level; and restores ninth grade math class sizes. Measure I supports education in grades K-6. The funds are being used to supplement math, science, and technology education as well as offer classroom music programs to almost 5,000 elementary school students in our district.

The filing deadline for the exemption for tax year 2010-11 was June 15, 2010. Forms for tax year 2011-12 will be available in January 2011.

Letter to the Editor
Santa Barbara News-Press

Santa Barbara School Districts thank the community for the tremendous support shown for our students with the passage of Measure H and Measure I. Our students will benefit from additional science and math materials, additional music and art instruction, more foreign language instruction, and reduced class size in ninth-grade math.

Thank you for supporting education for our kids!
